How overages work

Plans include monthly usage. If you go over, your search experience keeps running. We bill overages transparently or help you move to the next package when that makes more sense.

Requests

$0.40 to $0.80 per 1,000

For search and suggestion traffic above your monthly package.

Indexed records

$0.20 to $0.50 per 1,000 / month

For catalogs that grow beyond the records included in your plan.

Semantic records

$1.00 to $3.00 per 1,000 / month

For vector or semantic indexing workloads beyond included allowances.

Pricing FAQs

What is a search request? +

A search request is a single query sent to SuggestAPI from your site or application. Each time a user searches or your interface asks for suggestions, that counts as one request.

What is a record? How do you count records? +

A record is one searchable item stored in an index, such as a product, page, article, or document. We count records by the number of indexed items available for search in your account.

Is there a free plan? +

Yes. The Free plan is available for testing, prototypes, and early evaluation, and includes monthly requests, one index, and a small record allowance to help you get started.

Is there a commitment? +

No. Plans are month to month.

How do we accept payment? +

We accept payment online via credit card. Payments are processed securely via Stripe, our payment provider, in USD.
